Description:

As a practice grows, often their space needs growth as well. And this growth typically happens in multiple direction. The practice adds doctors, and this means expanding the clinic, waiting room and possibly the administration areas. So just adding space in one direction does not always improve the flow and productivity of the practice. Often times this approach worsens the practices flow. This webinar will address these issues with an operational approach to assessing your space needs, your current office layout and expansion possibilities. And how to decide to either expand your current office or relocate.

Objectives:

  • The space a practice needs is based on the complement of doctors in the practice, how many of those are in clinic at once and the patient volumes of those doctors. This webinar will teach the attendee how to assess these and use them to project space.
  • In any expansion/building project the goal is to improve the Flow, Productivity and Patient Experience. This webinar will give the attendee tools to use to assess their current flow and productivity to guide their assessment of their space and its ability to house the practice long term.
  • Once the Space and Flow needs are determined an objective assessment of the options to either renovate/expand or relocate is needed. The attendee will get tools and methodology to use to make this assessment.
