Josh McCaherty MBA, COE

Josh McCaherty is the Administrator for Traverse City Eye and Surgery Center in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan. Josh was fundamental in creating the practice in 2021 when three young doctors sought to start a new practice by merging several existing smaller practices in the community. Traverse City Eye is now one of the largest ophthalmology practices in Northern Michigan and operates their own surgery center.

Josh prides himself on balancing the analytics of running a profitable practice and surgery center with creating a positive culture for staff. He and Traverse City Eye is committed to being a top employer in Northern Michigan by thinking outside the box in meeting staffs needs, while also providing outstanding patient care in an increasingly competitive field.

Josh has been in ophthalmology for 4 years, with previous experience in corporate dentistry. He has his MBA and over 10 years in healthcare management.
