Michael W. Malley founded CRM Group in May, 1988 in an effort to provide refractive surgeons the personalized consulting, marketing and advertising expertise required to compete in today’s rapidly changing and highly competitive medical environment. Since that time, he has consulted with most of the leading refractive surgeons in the United States and lectures at both the ASCRS and the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons. He recently co-authored ‘Grow Your Eye Care Practice’ and ‘Best Practices: 135 Strategies For Building A Successful Practice.’

His years of experience as a journalist - followed by a career in public relations as the General Manager of the prestigious Goldman & Company and a 2-year professional volleyball career in Italy - provided an ideal background for the competitive creative skills and communicative expertise required to launch CRM Group in 1988.

Mr. Malley helped launch the introduction of Laser Vision Correction in Canada and worked closely with the Federal Trade Commission inan effort to revise written advertising guidelines for the refractive industry, which were initially based on the original PERK Study.

Today, he is a featured lecturer at many of the international ocular symposiums (ASCRS, ESCRS, ACES & SEE) and has authored articles in several of the leading ophthalmic trade journals, including Cataract & Refractive Surgery Today, Ophthalmology Management and Ocular Surgery News. He has written and produced numerous television documentaries on the latest breakthroughs in laser vision correction.
