Sharon Alamalhodaei COMT, OSC

Sharon has been IJCAHPO certified since 1994. With more than twenty years of clinical and administrative ophthalmology experience as a Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technician, Certified Ophthalmic Surgical Assistant, Clinic Manager and Practice Manager, she has extensive knowledge in the field of ophthalmic medical assisting and surgical assisting.  Sharon's first book, "How To Be The Tech Your Doctor Can't Live Without" was published in 2012. Her newest book "A Practical Guide to Extraocular Motility Assessment for the Ophthalmic Medical Assistant" was published in 2018. Sharon has also designed a unique Clear Pupil Gauge especially designed for ophthalmic technicians' needs.
