Sharon Alamalhodaei COMT, OCS

Sharon is a nationally recognized leader in ophthalmic technician training and education. She is the owner of Eye Tech Training, a firm based in Florida whose focus is on developing ophthalmic clinical staff.

With more than twenty eight years clinical and administrative ophthalmology experience as a Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technician, Certified Ophthalmic Surgical Assistant, Clinic Manager and Practice Manager, she has extensive knowledge in the field of ophthalmic medical assisting and surgical assisting.

Sharon has an enthusiasm for lifelong learning and ophthalmology. She has conducted IJCAHPO accredited COA & COT courses and workshops for thousands of ophthalmic assistants and technicians throughout the US including at the AAO, ASOA, ASORN and IJCAHPO Annual Meetings.
